Hi, I'm Helena

Founder of YOUbuntu CIC and an Anti-Racism & Racial Literacy Specialist with over 20 years of experience across education, workplaces, and community spaces. Since 2023, YOUbuntu has supported over thousands of students, staff, and professionals through workshops, training, and talks. I believe in the power of honest conversations, lived experience, and empathy to shift culture and build stronger, more inclusive communities. I’m also a mum of two, and I understand how deeply representation shapes confidence, belonging, and wellbeing. Let’s keep learning, growing, and creating change — together.

We make learning honest, engaging, and empowering through workshops, talks, and guided discussions. By exploring history, celebrating culture, and sharing lived experiences, we bring people together and build real connection.

We deliver workshops, talks, and training that bring people together. From education to corporate teams, YOUbuntu sessions build racial literacy, tackle bias, and celebrate the stories that connect us all. Expect energy, honesty, and plenty of ‘aha!’ moments along the way.
